The library was financed and set up by the staff from Singapore airlines.

We called into the Sunshine Home which has about 55 children of whom some are orphans. Ages of the children range from 2 months to 18 years. The home is financed lasgely by charity from Australia.

"Cells" were built in the classrooms for solitary confinement. Between 1975 and 1978 more than 17,000 people were held here before being taken to the extermination camp at Cheoung Ek better known as the killing fields.

A visit to Tuol Sleng Museum as a must. Originally it was a High School in the suburbs taken over by Pol Pot's security forces and turned into a Security Prison known as S-21. It became the the largest centre for detention and torture in the country.

The city has several beautiful wats and pagodas. We also visited the palace which contains the famous silver pagoda. Unfortunately we were unable to take any photas of this building.

We are off to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The city is situated on the confluence of three rivers, Mekong, Tonle Bassac and Tonle Sap. Phnom Penh is a city rediscovering itself after many years of "killing"
